Getting Started

Brannon Bollinger is a classically trained saxophone player in the Triangle with more than 20 years playing experience. He has played everything from jazz to ska to Japanese Shakuhatchi music with groups like Spoonful Of Soul, Archbishops of Blount Street, and Boom Unit Brass Band. While specializing in Baritone Saxophone, Brannon is fully equipped and capable with a Soprano, Alto, and Tenor as well. He earned a BA in Music Performance from UNC in 2001 and continues to perform with a number of local groups.

He can help with beginner, intermediate, and advanced technique, theory, and musicianship. Instruction is available at his home studio in Durham NC.

Weekly or bi-weekly is preferred, but he will work with your schedule. He is also available as a band camp drill or music coach, sectional coach quartet coach, guest conductor, guest instructor, audition judge, or competition judge.
